Free-writing is writing without
worrying about editing or punctuation or anything. Get into the habit of doing
this, so that you can crank out 500 words every day. Otherwise, you might get
stuck endlessly editing the same 200 words and never hit your mark. Save
editing for later.
To write is
to draw what your words cannot be uttered. To sketch what
your voice cannot sing. To echo what your mind cannot speak.
And to portray what your heart cannot tell.
There are
people who are gifted in speaking or public speaking to be specific. When you
close your eyes and listen to them, their words are contagious
and you are amazed on how they do that. You will meet many of them in the
church, in the school or in your work place.
You’re maybe hoping that you can
speak like them, that you can stand in a stage and face thousands of people and
give a speech to them. That would be great and many are aiming to be in that
position. But not all of them have given the gift of writing.
Look at those great movies
you watched on the big screen. Surely,
you are astonished to the whole story and maybe you’re saying, “good
actors/actresses, directors and amazing effects”.
Haven’t you thought where that story came
from? The movie that you are enjoying,
the scenes and how the whole thing makes your hands applause.
Don’t you know the one who
deserves the biggest admiration? The
mastermind of the tale where the celebrities are the one enjoying the fame
walking on the red carpet.
To the one who deserves the
big applause; the WRITERS/AUTHORS (and it's maybe you).
Most of the time, they were
always forgotten. They are part of the
behind the back crew who are working so hard just to make a film exciting,
realistic and epic. The one who crushed
their brains so much just to come up with a great beginning, climax and ending.
They
who endured sleepless nights to create a blockbuster piece that you can enjoy
reading or you enjoy watching.
I salute them and want to
become like them; making their words giving inspiration to millions and life to
a dying heart.
But most of all, I give my
praise and glory to the One who deserves all the thanks giving. To the One who
gives us the courage to move forward. To the One who gives us the strength to bear
all it takes to become what and who we are now. The reason why those writers (you), authors,
directors, actors, actresses have those kinds of gifts. The reason why you are able to read this
article. The reason why we can write without worrying. Your wrong grammars and spelling doesn’t
matter to Him as long as you are enjoying and blessing Him and His people. The reason why you breath, why you laugh,
why you walk, why you speak, why you have life.
To One who deserves the best and highest clap offering. Our Lord and our Savior. JESUS the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrew 12:2)
