I look on my left, I saw a group of security guards taking their lunch at 3:30 p.m….
Just imagine, a very very very late lunch.

On my right; a group of Reporters… (flash) (flash) (flash)!!! Pointing their fingers, “This
one! That one!... blah.. blah… blah…”

I turn around; I saw a pregnant woman, alone, sitting on a corner, bothered, may be
waiting for the session to be adjourned to give her solicitation letter for a little amount of
money to be given by the politicians… haaaaaaay!

On the other side, a group of Board Members Staffs’, laughing so hard as if there’s no
tomorrow, going to lean on someone ears whisper and then will laugh again…

The door opened, a lady entered, wearing a micro mini skirt as if trying to
impress and seduce someone…

I look at the gallery and… whoaw! Lots of people, well as usual, they are there waiting,
not because of the ordinances, resolutions and laws to be passed that day but for the
Board Members and the Vice Governor, to give their personal letters; letters asking for
financial assistance, medical assistance, educational assistance, burial assistance for a
relative, and many other assistance. Poor people, different faces and different ages but
the same persons every week coming to the session hall for the same reason…
wasting their time waiting while they can go and find a work to have a living…

I just find myself counting them like a sheep… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,…………….
63, gallery alone not including those people around… I continue counting… 64, 65, 66, 67…
“PAK!” “Session RESUMES.”

Back to reality. 5 minutes of silence was over! A silence that speaks aloud.
Louder than words those people can utter. Louder than a cymbal that bangs.
It’s like watching a movie of a great war with no sounds, you just saw armies and civilians running,
confused, bombings, gun strikes, great fires, dead bodies everywhere.  Just imagine
those things; you hear them very clearly but no sounds at all.  How come? Just actions,
ACTIONS; ‘that speaks on its own’. Speaking of poverty, hungriness, thirstiness,
sickness, confusion, loneliness, ignorance, grief, misery, pain, affliction, despair,
hopelessness, woe, war: that all speaks of one thing ‘REALITY’.

Wherever you are, whether in school, in your workplace, in the mall, in the market, in
the hospital, in the street, or even while you are driving, wherever. I don’t know what
you’ve done through, what you’ve endured, what you’ve fight for, what you’ve give up.

You think God must be quiet or very silent, but I tell you, open your eyes not only to see
Him but to hear Him speaking in your life.  (John 6:63, John 8:47, John 10:27, Rom. 10:17, Jer. 33:3, Isaiah 30:21)

Friends, life is hard, I know and no doubt about it, but it is harder without Christ. (Matt 11:28-30)

Your life must be in RECESS or suspended for the meantime but remember that there’s
always a continuation, a RESUME. Life has no control Z button; you cannot undo what
had been done.  But the good news is, we can start over even without a real-life undo command. Promise of a new beginning in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Live the life but never leave the “Life (Jesus)”. (John 14:6)

God bless you my brothers and sisters in Christ.

“Our session is ADJOURNED.” “PAK!”

Shalom!
